Halftime Report: Dating Agency Cyrano

The Casts:

Lee Jong Hyuk as Seo Byung Hoon

He is the co-founder of Cyrano, an agency that was first established by a group of friends from high school. The original members still remain to be unmentioned in the series. I'm not sure if this was a dating agency from the start however, they used to film videos of them together and such while doing school activities.

Choi Soo Young as Gong Min Young

She is an aspirant of true love. Her character is selfless and her happiness is dependent on her job which is to help others find happiness by spending life with the person they are in love with. To achieve her growth as a dating guru, she left her previous work in a dating agency to join the Cyrano team that offered her bigger opportunity.

Hong Jong Hyun as Moo Jin - Right
Jo Yoon Woo as Ah Rang - Left

These two are recruits in Cyrano. Ah Rang is a high school student who works as a part time employee in the agency while Moo Jin is a quiet type, seldom delivers conversation but very affectionate and sensitive to people’s feelings most especially to his environment. He is one of the key roles in the agency as the resident worker.

Our rather reserved guy is having crush with the newly hired worker of the restaurant near the agency. Finally! He found himself a good pair to match him. He chose to be by himself into his reflection that he's attracted to cute girls. When the chance came, she took a walk with her and her being clumsy but he didn't notice. He felt apologetic and helped her to get up and when she held into his arms, he felt strange. Suddenly, his heart is beating rapidly.

Lee Chun Hee as Cha Seung Pyo

He is the other guy to compete with Min Young's heart, obviously the cockblocker in our pairing. Also known as the owner and chef of the restaurant located near the agency slash a hideous gangster.

Evidence:

Operation Love:

Their assignment proved how Seo Byung Hoon is a pro in the world of dating game; but how would he apply his skills to his own love life? Let's find out.

Eventually, you'll realize that fate is created by the two most important factors, our destiny and how much we are willing to fight for it.

#1: the veterinarian and the librarian. He has been a frequent visitor of the library for the past 6 months where the target is working, hoping she would notice him. However, she is preoccupied with things concerning her life except for socialization. She loves life with books around her but she has low interaction with the customers. Other than that, her other interest is related to the well being of cats which she loves dearly.

#2: the idol and the class president. He is popularly known as RX Ray from the idol group RX. It's love at first sight for him to her. However, she's indifferent about his existence and identity as an idol while he has remained to be invisible in her eyes. It's because she loves his best friend.

Reflection: You would only see the person on a different light after he / she has confessed to you. Right?

Our Ah Rang has changed his perception towards her after she confessed to him. And no, I won't spoil as to whom she will choose in the end. But mine is Ah Rang all the way!

#3: the guy and the lady chef. This is a war of cooks from two different kitchen environment. He has a huge crush on her while he's being ignored and despised. Despite of that, he would pursue his intention because he's an 'M' - masochist meaning he loves to receive pain. On the other hand, she hates men being in her kitchen due to a traumatic experience in the past. However, he is willing to melt her heart turned stone and help her overcome her fears.

Crazy! - Kwang Soo's face is priceless haha!

#4: sadako and her stand out guy. She is sadako, covers half of her face with her hair, fears people, faints when faced with guys, and has low self esteem. She isn't expecting to be loved back and all she wanted was a meaningful change in her attitude with life thus she sought help.

Gong Yoo's back is so damn gorgeous! It would be so good to hug him from there. Hehe!

Reflection: She should love herself more than anyone before someone else does. That's true love.

Their chemistry: The ahjusshi and the young adult. To be honest, I'm having a hard time in finding spark in this couple. Perhaps, SooYoung has a lot of improvement to work on most especially in acting - though among SNSD girls, she's done best so far. Whereas Lee Jong Hyuk ahjusshi is oozing with appeal but he would not be the first choice for me to pair with SooYoung in this series. But it's late to blame on that reason. The more important thing, however is that I learned to accept their team up through this drama and that meant something to the development of their relationship in this drama..

These are all from Ep 1 - 9. -End-
