Review: J-dorama Recommendations

You can't possibly miss this drama, can you? F4 fever has taken us by storm all across Asia and has introduced j-do to most parts of the world. However, as easy as it is to take over, non-fans would easily jump into hate bandwagon because of the notion that we're after the looks and grandiosity of this F4. Proving that wrong, this Japanese version has showcased entertainment and fun spree treat to the viewers. You'd be easily hooked but more than that, its substantial value is more important, the message to come out of your comfort zone to discover the world and one's self.

Rating: 4.5/5 stars
Very Good

2. Hana Kimi

This is one of the feel good dramas I've watched. It has paved the way for history as everyone has learned to follow their footstep from Taiwan to Korea. In comparison, the said countries had a hard time reaching the set standard by this series because of the effortless, natural and comfortable portrayal of the actors to their characters.

Rating: 4/5 stars
Good

3. Nobuta wo Produce

This drama is unforgettable because it has introduced me to Kamenashi Kazuya, Yamashita Tomohisa and Horikita  Maki who eventually became few of my favorite j-do actors. The best thing about this drama is that it has made special focus to the course of their friendship that delights on their differences to keep their relationship together.

Rating: 4.5/5 stars
Very Good

4. Proposal Daisakusen

Given the chance to go back in time, would you change any decision that you've made in the past? If so, would it make a difference or will the circumstances stay the same? This drama sets mind games and what ifs to the characters that will complicate the supposedly settled answers.

Rating: 4/5 stars
Good

5. Liar Game 2

Rating: 4/5 stars
Good

6. Bloody Monday

This drama is a fantastic combination of suspense, thrill and a mentally arousing story. This depicts destruction over harmony.

Rating: 5/5 stars
Excellent - MUST WATCH

7. Tatta Hitotsu No Koi

It's a love story between two persons from opposing worlds. How far would they be willing to go for their love? Starring Kame and Ayase Haruka who made a good pair, this drama will basically tell you their love  story.

Rating: 3.8/5
Good

8. Hotaru No Hikari

I didn't expect to love the tandem between Ayase Haruka and Fujiki Naohito. Their chemistry was amazing mostly because their bickering is silly and immature which has something to do with the level of comfort their characters have to give to each other.

Rating: 4.8/5 stars
Excellent

9. Sai No Haha 14

Shida Mirai, plays an average junior high school student who becomes pregnant with her lover's child, played by Miura Haruma. The drama will show her gradually maturing as the circumstances around her change.

Rating: 3/5
Average

10. Nodame No Cantabile

Nodame portrayed by Ueno Juri who has a very disorganized personality is smitten to Tamaki Hiroshi's character, Chiaki sempai who is a piano and violin genius. Their tandem is peculiar, cute and addicting enough to keep you involved in their story.

Rating: 4/5
Good
