Review: Descendants of the Sun Episode 5

As expected, this drama gets better in every episode which is the reason for reigning on the top spot of the ratings battle that leaves its competitors behind by a huge margin. This is expected to continue next week however, with Goodbye Mr. Black's premier which is a comeback drama by Moon Chae Won (from Innocent Man) which is an exciting event because she will be facing off Innocent Man's co-star, Song Joong Ki. So I wonder how Lee Jin Wook and Moon Chae Won's pairing would fair among the K-netz. But I have seen snippets already and I must say that they have prepared a good competition for DOTS. But first, let me talk about how detail oriented this drama is and how it is put together once again.
Since everything happens for a reason, I have this gut feeling that Ye Hwa and her husband, Daniel are more than just passing characters to fill the gaps. Ye Hwa carries a gun in her sleep which is a sign that she must protect herself from imminent danger and her husband, Daniel who is a doctor definitely has a job that is more than complicated than what he is able to fix. Though, captain Shi Jin seems to trust them both, I am assuming that they are comrades of his. But I want to know the backstory of these characters and what they can further offer to the story. I hope that their story would be compelling as well.

Furthermore, these two just kissed which left a lingering feeling for both. With how it looks like, these two didn't have a good night sleep because of each other. Though it's hard to put a wall between these two cause of their inevitable attraction, Kang Mo Yeon is taken aback by Yoo Shi Jin's breezy moves towards her. He is a very charming yet also, dangerous which makes everything hard for Dr. Kang Mo Yeon because of his line of work. I hope that these two would meet a common ground so that they wouldn't waste their feelings and the genuineness of their characters. Besides, these two are well loved for their amazing chemistry onscreen which is apparent on their kissing scene.

That look on her face (blushes) when Yoo Shi Jin appeared after the night that they kissed.

These two were not-so-forced to work together to find the kid from Blackey Village whom needs a health teaching and check up.

She seems to be indifferent of what happened to them as she's trying to avoid the topic. To be honest, her feelings are so sincere that she's trying not to get hurt from this relationship.

Meanwhile, Myung Ju found a way to track down on Seo Dae Young's whereabouts. This scene cracked me up.

What was taught to you when the enemy is at your side? Do as they say. But this officer seems to acknowledge Lieutenant Myung Ju more.

Another cracked up scene from Yoo Shi Jin this time trying to avoid at looking to the temptation in Kang Mo Yeon's presence.

What happened to you? You've turned stone cold. XD

Mo Yeon met Dr, Daniel and it was a pleasant meeting to be honest, however, the key to his character is yet to be unveiled. Tell me if I am the only one who feels like this but they know a lot about Captain Shi Jin and his work.

Here he met the guy from his old troop who's now his enemy #1. How could he change from being a Captain to a villain? I want to know as well.

What a nice view! But is that a car on a cliff? Yes.

It's Kang Mo Yeon!

Our superhero came and he's just so cool like that.

There is no such thing as too much "descending".

BTW, the CPR scene wasn't a believable one. LOL. It was a kiss scene, LOL. Some people even made a close up of them and yes, Song Joong Ki lingered a bit before administering "breathes".

Is it because of fear or him giving you the CPR? I'll bet for the latter one.

He's a lunatic indeed. How can his smile be that adorable?

He's like a child full of charm that I want to squish and hug. How do you handle Yoo Shi Jin? There is no way to resist.

There is always something up to his sleeves. Such a sneaky Captain!
