Synopsis:

Shin Jae Joon is a heaven's postman given with ability to travel back and forth between the two worlds, the heaven and the preset time. Meanwhile, Joo Ha Na is a loved one, hopeful for her messages to a lover who passed away reach the heavens. They crossed each others' paths through a mailbox which is believed to deliver letters/messages in the afterlife.

They were caught in a complex situation, however, they decided to work together in sending the said letters back to the owners. The postman's mission is that he should be able to answer the letters through his own judgment and understanding in place of the deceased loved ones. Little to Joo Ha Na's understanding of their task, Shin Jae Joon is only visible to her.

Comments:
By the unusual plot of the story, you can already guess that it is done by an extraordinary screen writer who happens to be Kitagawa Eriko. Anyways, my impression of this drama is interesting because of its mood set by the music, the trend, the fashion and by the actors as well. Obviously, Jaejoong looked his best in this movie (in my opinion) and his acting was fairly acceptable to me if not even more than that. Of course, Han Hyo Joo did her share on the story which I believed is instrumental in bringing out the best out of Jaejoong. (I can be redundant already that she's one of my favorite actresses and you should've taken note of that by now). As a couple, I like them simply because they look good together (and they're friends as well). But of course I'd have to address the more important things that should never be overlooked by my personal feelings and attachment.

The flow of the story will really make you look forward and curious of the ending, I'm sure of that and if you are a fan of endings, be it good or bad then probably, I can recommend this to you. However, I'm the type of person who will oversee the ending for the sake of the story or the journey of the characters. I remember that one passage that goes something like "The journey is more important than its final destination" and I agreed. [WARNING: SPOILERS!!!] Probably because this is a telecinema then it is accepted to be shorter than other films but to me the story was really cut short. I didn't feel their love for each other and I can't find any reason why they should be in love. Okay, they had a few cups of coffee together, worked together for a few days or weeks maybe? But to me, you can't bring out emotions by those ordinary things/events especially for the story like this which I think started really well. Kill me now because I know this should have been better as a series instead. I like Jaejoong and Hyo Joo's characters as couples but how could that fall so short? I mean, hmm.
Additionally, I know that Kitagawa Eriko could have done this better. She just missed to bring out her priorities for this film and most especially that it is a film then it should have been more focused. If this film was meant for a love story which is developed by the tasked that they had to do, then I don't think the unfinished business should take half of the story and use it for what it is supposed to be a more substantial reason for them to be in love. They tried so hard on that part and miserably missed it. The story was very cluttered and the unfinished business was out of place. (sadface)

What do this film wants to convey?
- It's not clear to me but probably it's loving or showing your love to people you care most while they are on your side.

Rating:
2/5 Below Average
  • +1 Jaejoong's looks (Jaejoong on the bus)
  • +1 Han Hyo Joo and Jaejoong's pairing
  • -1 unreleased OST by TVXQ (I mean it)
  • -1 they tried to insert 3 unfinished businesses
  • -1 boring to most parts
